Authorities in Hyderabad are investigating a grim discovery after a middle-aged man was found deceased inside an automated teller machine (ATM) kiosk in the busy Mehdipatnam area. The incident, which occurred early Thursday morning, has sparked concern among local residents and commuters in the bustling commercial hub.
Discovery at the Bank Of Baroda Kiosk
The body was discovered within an ATM center belonging to the Bank of Baroda, located near the Rythu Bazar in Mehdipatnam. According to police reports, customers attempting to use the facility noticed the man lying motionless on the floor. Upon realizing the individual was unresponsive, they immediately alerted the local Humayun Nagar police station.
Officers arrived at the scene shortly after the call and cordoned off the area for a preliminary investigation. Emergency medical services were also summoned, but the man was pronounced dead at the site. No signs of a struggle or immediate foul play were reported at the initial stage of the investigation, though police are keeping all options open.
Identification and Ongoing Investigation
The deceased has been identified as a 45-year-old man. While his identity has been established by the authorities, his specific residence and professional background are currently being verified.
