Dakshina Kannada has reached a new zenith in academic performance, recording a staggering 98.4% pass percentage. This figure represents the highest achievement the district has seen in over 12 years. Local educational experts suggest that the leap in performance is not a fluke but the result of a deliberate “micro-planning” approach adopted by the Department of School Education and Literacy.
The strategy involved categorizing students based on their learning levels following preliminary assessments.
