Top officials from NITI Aayog recently met with the Board of Directors at APEPDCL to outline a rigorous roadmap for the power sector. During the discussions, officials stressed the necessity of hitting specific circle-wise targets to ensure the financial viability of the distribution company.

By implementing stricter monitoring and performance benchmarks at the regional level, APEPDCL aims to set a benchmark for other distribution companies (DISCOMs) across the country.
